The 3M Lecture Hall in Mechanical Engineering Building , which houses the Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Industrial and Systems Engineering  at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will provide the venue for EBSD 2010. The plenary meeting room accommodates 130 participants in classroom style, to facilitate note-taking. The room is set up for both wireless and wired internet connectivity. In addition:

    * A foyer immediately outside of the plenary room will be used for coffee breaks and for informal discussions;
    * The ME building Atrium has ample room for Lunch and the entire Poster Session (see picture) including several  areas for more in-depth discussions;
    * The Engineering Campus Mall is located a building away outside, where participants can relax during breaks.
  *Access to the Materials Science Center and several SEMs for Live Tutorial sessions is a short indoor walk through the Engineering Physics Building.
  *A third SEM is located in Weeks Hall (Geology Department) a short three blocks away.

Parking information for campus can be found at Visitor & Information Programs. Please note that parking immediately adjacent to ME Building is available in a ramp (Lot 17).
Street parking has 2 hour limit (enforced by ticketing). If handicapped access required, please contact John Fournelle as far as possible in advance to work out special permits.
